Yann is an excellent French teacher. He builds the lessons around my life and professional needs, which makes the learning highly relevant and practical. He is very flexible, and the vocabulary we cover is exactly what I need because the lessons are truly tailor-made. The lessons are a brilliant mix of grammar, vocabulary, and real-life application. I had French at school about 20 years ago, and Yann helped me quickly get back up to speed. I now need French in my professional life, and his approach has been extremely effective for that. I highly recommend Yann to anyone looking for business-focused French lessons that are practical, personalized, and engaging.

I would highly recommend Yann to anyone preparing for an interview in French or wishing to improve their professional French. He is very flexible and his lessons were tailored perfectly to my needs, focusing on conversational fluency and professional vocabulary, practising mock interview questions, and giving feedback on pronunciation and grammar. You can tell that he takes great care in preparing the lessons and enjoys brainstorming/thinking through good answers with you. He is a great teacher who genuinely invests in his students' success!
I didn't expect French classes to be so good! I can highly recommend Yann as a teacher. His classes are always fun, with great conversation practice and a structured plan, and at the same time always adapting to the students individual level and needs. My french was very rusty and I was not motivated, but through the classes I found again confidence and joy in the language.
Yann est un excellent professeur. Il s'adapte aux besoins individuels et rend ses cours très variés. Il est très sympathique et on rit beaucoup avec lui. Il explique la grammaire de manière à ce qu'on la comprenne et qu'on puisse l'utiliser dans un autre contexte. Always a pleasure to have a lesson with Yann! The lessons are consistently engaging and interactive - you might talk a bit about French cheese, a bit about grammar, or even some verlan (it's never boring). I would definitely recommend Yann as a great French teacher!

I was looking for a teacher who could help me with my fluency in French and I definitely found the perfect one! He is patient, adaptable and super friendly. I feel very comfortable talking to him about any topic and asking him questions about the language. Our lessons are fun and I've already learnt a lot. Yann is an encouraging, patient, professional, and friendly teacher! I love that he doesn't correct every single error I make. He knows when to let me keep talking and when to focus on the error so I can digest the correction. I've had a few months of weekly classes and I always have a lot of fun and an hour goes so quickly!
